No. Our accommodations are located on the second floor of the building. We do not recommend booking if you have trouble climbing, have conditions affecting the lower body, especially the knees, or have problems with heights, dizziness, or vertigo.
No, Downtown Bastrop offers free parking. As such, none of the businesses or residences have reserved or allocated parking spots.
No, pets are not permitted in the building.
Safety and security is a top priority at The Charles On Main therefore we have equipped the exterior of the building with 24-hour camera survelence and electronic locks. Building access is provided via the keypad using a custom 4-digit code, assigned to each reservation, for the duration of the stay and removed following check-out. This activity is monitored and recorded.

The Apartment has a fully-furnished kitchen including double-sided sink, microwave, gas stove/oven, side by side refrigerator with freezer and ice maker, Keurig coffee maker, pots, pans, utensils, cutlery, dishes, glassware, and flatware, hand operated can opener and wine opener. We do not have egg beaters, mixers, blenders, or other electronic or battery operated equipment.
The Loft and The Pied-à-terre include a small sink, small microwave, compact (medium-sized) mini fridge, Keurig coffee maker, kitchen utensils, can opener, glassware, dishes, flatware, and cutlery.
No. Smoking of any kind, including vaping is not permitted. Additionally, illegal substances are not allowed. Violators will be subject to fines, restricted access, and may be reported to authorities.

In the event of damage to property, including the building itself as well as any damaged, missing, or broken tangible property, guests will be billed and/or charged accordingly.
Check-in time is at 15:00 / 03:00PM CST
Check-out time is 10:00AM CST
Housekeeping and/or property management may enter and occupy any room or suites between the hours of 10:00AM (check-in) - 03:00PM (check-out) time.
Early check-ins are available for an additional fee and must be approved by management prior to your arrival,
Late check-outs are available for an additional fee and must be approved by management prior to your departure

Unlike many industry standards, The Charles On Main takes pride in offering customized cancellation options by which both parties benefit from the amount of notice given.
Our cancellation policy states that notice given within:
14 days (2 weeks or more) = 1 time complimentary rebooking to another date within a 12 month period from the date of the original booking, or full refund less the processing fee of $30
7-13 days (less than 2 weeks, more than 1 week) = 50% refund
0-6 days (less than 1 week) = no refunds or exchanges
